RAVENNA  It is not possible to admire such splendid mosaics from the Byzantine period  in any other part of the world.  The historic-artistic route reveals the treasures of the Goths (mausoleum of Teodorico),  the Roman-Byzantines, the medieval period, up to the most recent finds of evidence from the past. Eight monuments including San Vitale, the mausoleum of Galla Placidia, and St. Apollinare in Classe have even been proclaimed UNESCO world's heritage for the supreme artistic mastery of its mosaics.

BERTINORO is the perfect getaway for those in search of tranquillity, nature and good wine. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Adriatic coast. Various characteristic wine shops offer tastings of delicious Romagna wine, piadina (a local flat bread) and ciambella (a local cake).

CESENA  Stroll around the streets and squares with their different kinds of shops and old buildings, to enjoy a pleasant itinerary taking you through past and modern times. The Malatesta Library, dating back to 1452 is a gem: its large hall with three naves, conserves a patrimony of an estimated 340 documents ranging from manuscripts to miniatures.

FAENZA  is an international synonym for ceramics. Every year the International Museum of Ceramics attracts visitors from all over the world.

SANTARCANGELO  Visitors can still admire, among steps and towers, its fine buildings dating back to Medieval times, the cobbled streets, craftwork shops and Malatesta Fortress. In July an international Theatre Festival takes place in the most impressive spots of the village.

GRADARA Tied to the romantic story of Paolo and Francesca and situated between Romagna and Marche. Gardara is surrounded by medieval walls adorned by bastions, all passable, a unique panorama of the hills, medieval towns and the sea. Particularly noted for its DOC wine and traditional and innovative restaurants which offer Romagna style cuisine and cutting-edge specialities.
